Hey all ya-all! Wow, we've gone country! ;) Umm, I haven't written in so long I kind of don't know what to say! Liz is very happily in Ireland, leaving for a month long tour of Germany tomorrow.... crazy! She said they've been rehearsing a ton, and they haven't made it through a whole dress rehearsal yet, and they start shows on Wed! How insane is that?! I don't think I've ever been in a show that cut quite that close to the performance dates... although Fiddler was pretty bad, it wasn't that close. And apparently the manager fired the lead in one of the shows, so that makes things even worse! But Liz is really happy, she's already got a boyfriend, really really fast, in my opinion, but he seems like a nice guy, and she told me that she hasn't been homesick at all, which is awesome! We would feel bad if she was sad over there. Our new suitemate is an interesting character. Doesn't spend a lot of time in her room, but when she is there, she's noisy! She usually has a friend over when she's there, and they talk really loudly. If she's by herself, there's loud rap music playing... but she's really nice when I talk to her. So it's kind of an interesting dilemma. We like her because she's nice, but we don't appreciate the noisiness on our quiet side of the suite. Oh well. We'll survive the next three months. And we're trying to figure out what we're doing for next year, Becca and I are going to live next to each other, whether Lisa gets an RA position, or whether people go abroad.... it's all craziness! But, we'll work it out. Classes are going decently well, lots of busy work, kind of... the coloring should be fun and simple, but it just takes so darn long! But at least it's helping me learn the brain. We've been dissecting brains in lab, and we have to be able to identify the different structures, we have a test coming up on that next week. That's fun and interesting. Stats is kind of boring, but at least we're finally doing t-tests now... before we weren't doing much of anything! It's my easy class this semester. We've been reading a whole bunch of Greek novels, and they're fun! Kind of interesting though, because there's this pattern (that's finally been broken, but still) where the heroine and hero get separated by pirates, and she ends up getting buried alive, and they think she's dead but she's not, and eventually they find each other and live happily ever after, but it was just kind of funny... you wouldn't think of so many people getting buried alive, it's rather Romeo and Juliet in a way. But that's a fun class. Dance is going really well, we're working on a bunch of routines, which is good, we've got every Monday set aside as full team run-through day, which is awesome, and this week we're going to start the Theatre Arts routine, which is awesome because I'm going to need to be a whole lot stronger! Cause it's all lifts, and... yeah, strength is good! For the guys too. Poor Andrew, I'm afraid I'm going to break him. At least I trust him enough to not completely just drop me, he'll break my fall somehow. :) He's a great guy. Sandor and Andrew and I played games Sat. night, and it was really really fun! We played this game that they call Settlers. I think it's actually called Settlers of Catan, although I'm not sure, but it was fabulous! We were laughing the entire time! Especially because Andrew was completely crushing me. But it was really fun! I also taught the guys how to play Xactika, which was fun, but since there were only three of us at that point, it wasn't as fun as it normally is with more people, so we'll have to play again when there's more, cause I think they'll like it better. But that was a very enjoyable evening. It's been raining here, this is the fifth day now, and I'm so tired of it! There's no drainage, so it's just all wet and mucky and ucky here... and I don't like it at all! But, I won't melt, fortunately. ;) And I just forgot what else I was going to say, so... I'll end so that I can get some stuff done before class! :)
