Well, I'm back safe and sound, have done more shopping in one week than I ever thought possible. I'm glad that my suitemates have some space in between them again... towards the end a couple of them had been in close proximity for slightly too long, it was a little tense. But it worked out well for the most part. I had wonderful Indian food while we were at Arathi's house, her mom cooked for us, and it was so good! I've never eaten with my fingers before, or at least, not that kind of food with no utensils. It was an interesting experience. One of those, I know I've been told not to eat like this, but it's a different culture, so I'm going to! And it's really fun! :) We had a good Irish dinner on St. Patrick's day, corned beef and cabbage and Irish soda bread. Soooo good. Anyway, I had a good time, but now it's back to everything else. We have four weeks until concert now, and this weekend is SF. Crazy!! Hopefully everything goes well. We still have two whole routines and two half routines that need choreography. And that's a little scary, considering the amount of time we have left. It'll all work out I know, but... it would be nice to have all the routines done so that we could just be perfecting at this point. It would be a little less stressful. Anyway, I should get back to work. I'll write when I can... let you know how SF went probably. :) It's sunny!!

Well, it's spring break!! Yay!!!!! I'm free! And I'm done, with everything. As crazy as this week was, and it was insane let me tell you, I've finished everything, took the midterms, wrote the paper, demonstrated and went to speeches and danced and .... yipes. It's crazy! But now I have a week off. Kind of. We're headed to Arathi's, leaving in an hour. :) I'm excited. We'll be there until Wed morning, doing things like Hollywood and Santa Monica and things. And then we'll head up to Salinas for the last part of the week. Cathy's mom makes wonderful Irish food apparently, so it's exciting that we're going to be there for dinner on St. Patrick's day. And we're going into SF for a day to see the ballet, and spend a little time in the city. I'll be back on Sunday, when I have to finish learning All That Jazz, which is the routine I'm in for Chicago, and learn the Disco so that I can be ready to compete that when we go back to SF! Crazy! But... I know pieces of that one at least, and ... yeah. My arm is pretty and purple again... looks like I've been beaten, but it's just from the lifts again this morning. If this keeps up, I'm going to have a purple arm until concert! Hopefully it will stop bruising. That would be nice. Then I won't be afraid to move my arm when I'm wearing a tank top because it looks horrible. It's kind of funny though. No one else looks as bad as I do. I must just bruise really easy. :) It's fun though! Alright, must finish packing... I think I've got everything, and yes, I did remember to take a jacket. :) Write again sometime next week..... have fun!

Hi! We've been having the most gorgeous weather! It's like eighty some-odd, and sunny, and wonderful! I'm enjoying it so much! And I actually got to go outside for an hour yesterday, because I took my reading out there. It was absolutely wonderful! I spent most of the weekend writing my paper that's due this next Friday, and since that involved lots of sheets of paper for the articles, and a book, and some other stuff, I was inside all weekend, except for walking places, like down to rehearsal, and to brunch, and fun things like that. Sooo nice. The mountains still have snow on them, although it is melting now. I had a good weekend though, even though I wasn't out in the sun a whole lot, I got a lot of my paper written, and we had a good rehearsal for the theatre arts, I have a nice set of bruises to prove it. ;) It's great, my arm is all purple on the underside from doing the lifts. But it doesn't hurt, which is good! Red Room was really fun! Live jazz band, and most of the guys stayed sober this year, so that I had a lot more options of people to dance with, which was really really nice. It was really fun! Except when Andrew managed to smash my nose. He was trying to kill me. ;) Not really, but it sure did hurt! It's fine, no swelling or bruising or anything, but it's still a bit tender when I blow it and stuff. Ashleigh's decided that dancing is too dangerous for my face, that I'm going to start having to wear a helmet or something! It's great. I also went to Lindygroove last Thursday, because I absolutely had to get off campus. It was fabulous! I had such a good night! And I had a bunch of guys tell me I was really good, which was just exactly what I needed. Especially when around here I know maybe four single guys now... it's time to get out and meet some more! Everyone's hooked up now. It's insane! Sarra and Lisa and I are like the only ones without a boyfriend now... crazy! And all the guys we know have a girlfriend. It's really very strange. I've never been in a group of friends like this before. I've always had the majority of the group being single, or at least, having some single guys around. It definitely makes things interesting. Anyway, I survived my midterm of death that was yesterday, and hopefully it went well. It definitely went better than I thought it was going to... now I have this paper, and one more midterm, then it's Spring Break!!!!! Yay! I'm so excited! Except that I'm going to be gone all week, and this is somewhat bad, since I have two routines to learn over break, and a lot of people are staying here, so I won't be around, and they will, so they're getting together, and I know I can learn it, but.... ah! Anyway, we're taking the disco and the medley to SF. I'll be in both! I'm very excited, and it should be really really fun! I'm also competing individually with Adam and Ian, which, we don't expect to win anything at all, nor even to place, but being called back once would be nice. :) We'll see what happens.... I'm also doing foxtrot in the team match with Adam, which means I get to wear the cool black and white dress again. :) I'm excited! Anyway, I need to go and ask my stats question, and then start studying for my other midterm, have a great week!
