Let's see, so, I have a job now, and I've had my first three days or rather, nights of work. I did dinner Friday night, dinner Thursday night, and this morning breakfast/lunch. But, today it was so slow I got to leave an hour early. Which was nice, but, that means no money for me. Which is kind of sad. I went to Camp Jitterbug here in Seattle over Memorial Day Weekend, which was just fantastic! There were so many people there, and the dancing was fabulous! Sunday night was the best though! There was a live band, and I danced with a whole bunch of really good guys, and I was following well, and when I wasn't dancing, I could just watch the instructors, because they are simply amazing! I love watching them! I want to dance like them! So, now I know who all these couples are that Tatsu talks about, or at least some of them anyway. And Tatsu seems to know everyone! It's crazy! Well, he knows all the really good people from Seattle, and a whole lot of people from out of state too, which is kind of crazy, but I guess that's from all the exchanges he's gone to. Anyway, he had a private lesson with Marty and Jen, and I bet it was just fabulous, and I can't wait to hear about it, but I haven't talked to him since the camp got over, and he was having his lesson just after I left. Anyway, let's see, what else? Mmm, I'm enjoying the weather pretty much! It's been fairly nice lately, so I dont' have to complain about the rain all that much. ;) Oh, and I got to see 42nd Street last night, which was fabulous! Next on my list of things to do in life: tap dance! :)

So, I'm home again. For three months this time, and it's going to be a very interesting three months! While I love my family dearly, and I do have friends here, I will definitely miss seeing those friends that I made at school, since they are scattered all across the country now. Well, at least Becca and Ian and Sarra are coming to visit me in August! And, I got a job today! I'm so excited! It isn't much, just bussing at the club, but, it pays! And right now, that's good enough for me! I also have an application from the florist that I'm going to fill out, if I can find my references phone number card! It's missing, and it's making me angry! Anyway, so yeah. I'm going to the Jazz band concert tonight! :) Which should be very fun! And then I start work on Friday, and all weekend is Camp Jitterbug! I'm so excited for that! :) I'll be really tired though, afterward I bet! :) Well, I'll write again eventually. I just knew that I needed to keep this operating so that when people actually look at it next Fall it's still there. :) Have a great summer everyone!

Wow, alrighty then. So, I've finished bio and Core II. Yay! And we had our Latin review session in between those finals, which made things oh so interesting. But, I think both finals went rather well. Hopefully they went as well as I think they did. That would be really nice. I'm not worried so much about Core, since Didi and I went through that study guide really well yesterday, and most of the questions were straight off the study guide, so, yes, I think as long as I wrote all the essays well enough, that should be fine. Bio, on the other hand, I'm a bit more worried about, since it was more difficult, because there was no study guide. It wasn't as evil as I thought it would be, but, it wasn't easy either. But, I think it went fairly well, hopefully well enough to maintain or boost my test average. That would be cool! Anyway, so, I got back from the bio final at 9:40 at night. (They schedule these things way too late for my tastes.) And I had a message from Wes. So I called him. Apparently, they had a meeting about the tour options for tour team, and several people said that if they weren't going to do a certain number of performances, that they didn't want to go. So, Wes had considered bringing campus team people up to fill in the holes, and I would have been one of them. That fell through though. And I am really excited that he even considered me as a person to bring up, but at the same time, wish he hadn't said anything, because it was really frustrating to have it presented and then taken away immediately! It would have been so fun to be a member of tour team, even just for a bit, and to perform all those amazing routines! Ah! Oh well. I shall survive without it, as they will too, since they are no longer going on tour as well. But, mmmm, I wish it had happened. Well, maybe next year. Well, I'm going to do nothing for tonight. I think I deserve that. Two finals and a review session, I'm done for the day. Tomorrow entails math final and hopefully making really good progress on my paper. I have a little more than three pages righ now, and the quotes typed in make that seven, so that's pretty good I'm thinking. Maybe more than I can afford to have. We'll see how it goes.

Alright, so, one take home final, three sit down finals, and five pages of my ten page paper to go! But, I'm having a fabulous time! We had our last team social yesterday, so we had dinner with everyone, and a slideshow, and presentation of awards, and different things. We made Tara cry, and got Wes all choked up when we gave them their awards. I can't believe they're actually leaving. I just got into this! You shouldn't be allowed to go! But, such is life. Wes is pretty confident in the guy who he thinks will get the job. Hopefully he's right! After the team social, we created a surprise dance party for Wes and Tara, it was so cute, because Tara knew about it, and she told Wes that she was recieving some kind of award and needed an escort, so he had to dress nicely, and so he came in his tux, and luckily, just happened to be wearing an old pair of his dancing shoes, because they look like tux shoes. He was so surprised, and really happy. It made me happy. I shall miss them both very much! They were such fun people! They imitated beginning dancers learning to waltz last night, and it was so funny! They are hilarious together! And they put cake on each other's faces! They are great! It was so much fun! Except that they ended the dance at 11, and we really could have gone on longer! It was kind of sad. But, that's OK, we had fun anyway, because we all went and took a shower, and then reconvened in the living room, and we just ended up talking and stuff, but it was really fun. I shall miss these people for three months! But, we'll be back together in the fall, thankfully! Wow, so, dancing has officially ended. There will be no more, even Lindy has ended. It's kind of sad. But, we're all going to Lindygroove on Thursday, after seeing the Matrix and then having dinner, it will be fabulous! A really good way to start bringing an end to this. Wow, I can't believe it's over already. I never wanted year-long schooling before, but this is so different! I wish we didn't have such a long time off, and at the same time, it's going to be really nice not to have all the work! Well, speaking of which, I should go and get some done. Talk to you all soon!

Yay! Well, let's see, I finished my presentation, so now I only have a ten page paper to write. (Only. ;) ) Today was the last day of math, which is kind of sad, and really nice at the same time, because now I just have a final to take, and no three-time-a-week assignments to do. Core, wow, we have to create a presentation by Monday. But, since the three of us have been incredibly busy, yeah, I think that will be happening tomorrow, or something. The two dance parties last weekend were so much fun! So much fun! I got out of lab on Friday, Becca did my hair (in this really awesome style that I got so many compliments on) and Camille did sparkly makeup on me. :) Then I gathered everything, and headed down to the ballroom. We had spent two hours the night before creating clouds, lightning bolts, and I drew two Parthenons for the walls. (I was very proud of my Parthenons. You all know how very non-drawing-artistic I am! :) ) Things were going fine until the ladder collapsed while Lucas was on it! That was so scary, because I was standing right beside him, and I couldn't do a thing about it! I'm so glad that he wasn't badly hurt. He was able to land in a safe position, which was so good. Scared me to death though! But, he got right back up and kept hanging the streamers. I was very impressed with him. Eric took over Lucas's place after a while, and he and I finished the streamers. Then I had twenty minutes to eat, and then we rehearsed for our performance that evening. Then I helped Leslie with the food, while waiting for Sarra and Lisa to arrive so that I could get the last pieces to my costume. The theme was Greek/toga, so we decided that the three of us should go as the sirens. :) It was fabulous! We wore hottt dresses, and feathers, and handed out ear plugs so that the guys could dance with us. It was so fun! We did take pictures, so hopefully they turn out well! :) The dancing was really fun, and the performance went well, so that was great. By the time the dance was over though, I had spent over six hours in the ballroom, and it was time to go home, so I didn't stay to help clean up as much, but, I had done a lot of decorating, so I think that was enough. Anyway, the next night, we had our own little dance party. There were four girls, and three guys. And it worked out really well! It was so fun! And after we finished dancing, we played games, which was awesome! I love this group of people, they are so fun! :) So, this week was rehearsal week! We have had rehearsal every night, which has made things slightly crazy, but lots of fun. The rehearsals have been going well, last night we actually got done with tech, and a full run-through before midnight! I was so impressed! These lighting guys are fast and awesome! Wednesday night, I stayed to watch the show from the audience, because I won't ever get to see it, although I found out that I will have a lot more to do backstage than I thought I would, which is really nice! I like feeling helpful, instead of just being in a dressing room waiting to go on. Last night, I found people I could help with quick-changes, so that's what I will be doing, I also sewed Leslie's custume, and Adam's hat. I was little miss fix-it! :) It was fun. At least I was doing something. I like that. The show is going to be so incredibly wonderful! I can't wait to show you the videos! And, there's interesting things about the tour team, because they were going to Taiwan on tour, but now with this whole SARS thing, they probably won't be going, which is horribly sad for them, because they had it all planned out! But, better to not have them all get sick than to have them go, is my feeling, and I'm sure theirs too. :) Anyway, opening night is tonight! I am so very very excited! Yay! It's going to be so good! :) I love dance! And the costumes, though dangerous, are so incredibly fun to wear! I love them! Mmm, Yay! And, Aunty sent me flowers! Thank you! It was so nice, and cute! I love them! Anyway, I'll stop rambling and go get some work done!
